Go beyond the basics of word processing and master the more advanced features of Microsoft Word 2016.  You will learn how to automate using shortcuts to help you write more while typing less. Learn to create documents such as newsletters and greeting cards.  Create whatever you need—quickly and with professional-looking results.  Learn about macros, shortcut keys, and templates to create even the most complex formatted documents quickly and easily. You’ll also learn how to create and organize text in tables, mix graphics and text together to turn Word into a simple desktop publishing program.  If there is time, you’ll see how quickly you can merge spreadsheet (Excel) data to create mailing labels and form letters.

Take off from the beginner class and get into beginning finger picking using tablature along with chord shapes. We will also dive into advanced chord structures and strumming skills. Students should have completed the beginner's course or have some knowledge reading tabs along with basic scale and chord structure theory. Please bring a music stand. Course material will be provided. No class 4/16.

Make a charming little nativity just in time for Christmas. The stable is woven like a basket and is about 4" high. The figurines are wooden and dressed in muslin. Repurposed Sweater Mittens

Come create a toasty pair of adult size mittens from a well loved wool or wool blend sweater complete with a fleece liner.  Please bring along a washed sweater, 1/3 yard fleece, fabric and paper scissors, pins, thread to match and a portable working sewing machine if able.  Extra sweaters and fleece will be available for a small fee and a sewing machine is available to share.
