Knitting Basics - One-Night Class - 4p - 6p or 6p - 8p

This class is a short one-night class.
All levels of ability are welcome!
Ideal for beginning or "rusty" knitters. Casting on, ending a project, and repairing mistakes will be covered, as well as mastery of the basic knit and purl stitches, the foundation of all knitting.
Even if you have a project that you are trying to do and you are in a position that you need help. This is the class for you.
Supplies needed
Bring size 7 knitting needles, 1 light color Supersaver Red heart yarn (7 ounces), 1 small pair of scissors, and a tape measure. OR Bring a project that you are working on.
Can register here, or stop by the office and pay before class. Please stop by the office to pay for class drop-in.

Wire Wrapped Jewelry

Beth will present a different wire-wrapped pendant project each week.
Come create a piece of jewelry, pendant, or earrings using a variety of jewelry techniques including hammering. Bring your original ideas and any jewelry tools you may have.
There us a $10 materials fee to be paid to instructor at time of class.

Come play in this guided mix and match, mixed media workshop. Drawing, Printmaking and Transfer techniques. Create Artist Trading Cards, gifts, dozens of prints, greeting cards or practice drawing skills. You choose. Beginners welcome!

Scrapbooking Made Simple

We will be designing 3 quick 2-page scrapbook spreads using wonderfully coordinated kits from Stampin up! Everything needed for the pages will be provided.

Paper trimmer and small scissors.
Students will be able to purchase adhesive for $5.

If you have a project that's stumped you or you're just looking for a place to hang for the night with a hook, welcome.
If you're looking to learn but can't commit to a schedule this is also a great option.
Bring a hook to fit your yarn and let's have some fun!
Wood Carving Basics with Knives

Have you never carved wood but would like to try it? If you're just looking for a group to carve with, come and join us. You will learn some basic techniques for carving wood with woodcarving knives, We will also discuss reading the wood to determine the best approach with each cut. We will go over "Stropping" (Sharpening) your knives.
A new project is available for purchase each week or you can bring your own. And the best part? Kits cost just $10, making this class not only enriching but also affordable.
All levels of ability are welcome!
First week, carving project is free.

Hammered Silver Jewelry

Come create an original piece of hammered sterling silver jewelry. You will be able to make a pendant or earrings. There will be a variety of stones/beads and silver to choose from. Please bring any jewelry tools you may have.
The materials fee of $10 (CASH) is due at the beginning of class and is paid to the instructor. Additional materials may be purchased if needed.
