This class is designed to "flip" from onsite to remote, should we need to close our buildings.
Ideal for beginning or "rusty" knitters. Casting on, ending a project and repairing mistakes will be covered, as well as mastery of the basic knit and pearl stitches, the foundation of all knitting. All levels of ability are welcome! Bring size 7 knitting needles, 1 light color Supersaver Red heart yarn (7 ounces), 1 small pair of scissors and a tape measure. First session would be slippers or mittens.

Repurposed Sweater Mittens

Get ready for chilly weather! Come create a pair of mittens from a well loved sweater, complete with a fleece liner. Bring a washed sweater, 1/3 yard fleece, fabric and paper scissors, pins, thread to match and a portable working sewing machine. Extra materials available for a small fee.
