Knitting Basics

This class is designed to "flip" from onsite to remote, should we need to close our buildings.

Ideal for beginning or "rusty" knitters. Casting on, ending a project and repairing mistakes will be covered, as well as mastery of the basic knit and pearl stitches, the foundation of all knitting.  All levels of ability are welcome! Bring size 7 knitting needles, 1 light color Supersaver Red heart yarn (7 ounces), 1 small pair of scissors and a tape measure. First session would be slippers or mittens.

Nurturing Parenting

Parenting can be hard!  You're not alone!  The Nurturing Parenting program will cover topics such as; communicating with respect, building self-worth, morals, values and rules, dealing with stress and anger and many more.  Join us in this laid-back group that leaves room for conversation and sharing!  Certification of Completion available.  No class 10/12.  Pre-registration required.

Machine Tool (Open to all levels)

This class will be held onsite, face-to-face.

No prerequisites required.  A review of common machine practices, with a strong emphasis on safety and guided instruction are part of this class. We’ll introduce lathes, milling machines, grinding, precision measurement, inspections, safety and many general machine shop processes. Projects will be experience-level appropriate. Depending on additional projects, there may be a fee for materials used.  

Due to the nature of this class, there are only 10 spots available, and there is a minimum of 5 students registered to run the class.
