Framed Mosaic Suncatchers 3/17

Learn to make beautiful glass framed suncatchers using sea glass, shells, marbles or other eye-catching glass that sparkles in the sun.  In the class, we'll prepare the frames, and glue items onto the glass. Everyone will be give instructions on how to do the optional final step at home-mixing and pouring resin that will encase the items in a clear, durable finish.  Please sign up at least one week prior to the class to give the instructor enough time to gather materials for all registrations.  There is a kit fee of $30 payable to the instructor.

Most people who experience cardiac arrest at home, work or in a public location die because they don't receive immediate CPR from someone on the scene.  As a bystander, don't be afraid.  Your actions can only help! Step 1, call 911 (better yet, get someone else to call). Step 2, start hard and fast compressions in the center of the chest to the beat of any tune that is 100 to 120 beats per minute!

Ink Pendants

Alcohol inks can be used to create beautifully colorful designs on special papers and then cut up to make pretty jewelry pendants.  These inks act differently than paints or other inks and the results can be very striking.  Alcohol inks are permanent so wear old clothes or bring an apron.  All materials provided.  Chains not included.  Kit free of $4 payable to the instructor.

We will review the equipment necessary to establish your own hive and options for placement of hives at various locations.
