Repurposed Sweater Mittens

Come create a toasty pair of adult size mittens from a well loved wool or wool blend sweater complete with a fleece liner.  Please bring along a washed sweater, 1/3 yard fleece, fabric and paper scissors, pins, thread to match and a portable working sewing machine if able.  Extra sweaters and fleece will be available for a small fee and a sewing machine is available to share.

Have you always wanted to try silkscreen printing? This is the class for you! Print you own t-shirts, sweatshirts, scarfs, bags, invitations, posters, etc. Learn how to transfer your images and ideas into wearable and functional art. This class is for beginners so we'll work through different techniques at appropriate pace. Please bring reference images and designs to class. We will be working inside and out so dress appropriately. Materials fee of $68 payable to the instructor at class. Limited to 6 students.

Create your own Thanksgiving centerpiece! Arrange a whimsical centerpiece that runs lengthwise on your dining table, or perhaps a more traditional arrangement with a beautiful fall palette. Maybe a series of smaller arrangements is best for your Thanksgiving dining table? Florist, Jazzmyne, will work closely with you to create the perfect piece for this very special holiday! Please feel free to bring reference photos. Materials fee of $28 payable at class.

Learn the basics of clay work using a pottery wheel. Make at least two hand thrown vessels, walking away with finished, glazed pieces. We will discuss the process of building and firing pottery, as well as specific hand-building and decorative techniques to supplement and beautify your creations! Students ages 16-17 must accompanied by an adult. Materials fee of $20 payable at class!

If you are 18 or 80; you could still be asking this question! Take the "World of Work Inventory (WOWI)-it is an intensive online assessment split into two components.  Address your likes and dislikes, your abilities, your work styles, your potential to learn new skills and your ability to adapt.  A report will be generated that aligns job sectors and careers to your current status as well as suggestions for further education that would lead to other career opportunities.  A FREE follow up appointment comes next to review the report with you and assist your with your next steps.
