Youth Clay Night

This class will be held remotely, with instruction taking place online.

Explore a fun and easy beginner-level project.  Learn to hand build sculptural forms.  Decorate your pieces before firing.  Great for those new to clay, or looking to try something new!  Each week will be a new project.  Register with a friend!  All experience levels welcome, appropriate for ages 6-13.  Gather these homemade "tools" for your live, online session with Amanda:  a butter knife, a ruler or straight edge, a fork or comb, an old plastic credit card or gift card, a dish for water, newspaper, and a plastic bag to cover the finished piece while drying.   Optional tools:  a sponge, a chopstick, a paint brush, and interesting objects with textures you can press into the clay to add visual elements.  Course fee includes clay and firing.  Specify date when registering.
