Beginning Ukulele 1/22

You'll be playing songs on the first night...guaranteed! Learn all the basic chord shapes that you will need to have fun with the UKE! Learn about scales, chord formations, chord transitions, progressions and why and how they work, how to read tablature, sheet music notations, counting and strumming patterns. Bring a ukulele, tuner and music stand.  No class 2/19.

Work one-on-one with a child or adolescent with special needs within their home and community focusing on behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, as well as community inclusion. Become a key member of the in-home support program working independently with the child and cooperatively with a treatment team. Your schedule may be flexible allowing you to maintain a work/life balance. Key qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required, valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle with current auto insurance, a positive attitude, high energy level and creativity. In addition to course fee, there is a $17 fee payable to in instructor for a CPR card.

Cherokee Double Wall Basket

This fancy basket has a lot of features to make it really special.  Start with a twill base in two colors.  One color goes inside of the basket and the other on the outside which is also woven with patterns and curls. It requires more work than a regular basket, but is not extra difficult. It measures 8" x 15". Materials fee of $30 payable to the instructor at class.

Cooking Matters Pop-Up Tour 11/14

Cooking Matters at the Store Pop-Up tour is a free 60-minute interactive workshop that brings the grocery store to you.  With the focus on teaching ways to shop for healthy food on a budget, tour participants will learn how to: expand their food budget, use unit pricing, buy different fruits and vegetables, identify whole grains, read food labels and save money!  Participants who complete the Pop-Up tour also receive a $10 Hannaford gift care and recipe booklet.  Learn how to get the most with your money.  Class can only be taken once per person.
