CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) This is an advanced course for people in public service as a paid or volunteer first rsponder. Enhance your basic CPR and AED skills learning how to better manage breathing, airways and drug overdoses.  Course meets requirements for first responders, lifeguards and others who may need or want more advanced medical training. Course fee includes American Heart Association CPR card. (This instructor is AHA and ASHI Certified) 

There is a $75 materials fee for pocket mask, book, and specific card to this class.

Acquire the critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest until emergency medical services arrive. Learn to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, and other first-aid emergencies. CPR and AED for Adults, Children, and infants.  Certification is good for 2 years and meets most requirements for advisors, camp counselors, and basic care providers.  The course fee includes American Heart Association CPR card. Medical Transcription is a desired field for most people to work from home.  Strong typing, computer, and English Grammar skills are essential.  Medical terminology, formats, rules and regulations, jobs, calculation of pay, confidentiality, and tricks of the trade, all equipment, reference books, and course books are provided with the course fee.  Classes are online for 16 weeks with completion of 16-week to 6-month options.  This is a State Certified Program, and you will receive a Certificate of Completion and Letter of Recommendation upon graduation, resumes and how to obtain a job are covered in this program.  The program includes Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Transcription.  

$3,200 includes everything for the course and the field.  The required typing skills are above 60 WPM, and Microsoft Word proficiency.

Wilderness environments create special situations not usually encountered in an urban or suburban environment. With an ASHI Wilderness First Aid class, first aid providers in a remote outdoor setting will be better prepared to respond with wilderness first aid training when faced with limited resources, longer times to care for someone, and decisions about when and how fast to evacuate an ill or injured person. This comprehensive 16-hour course meets or exceeds the Boy Scouts of America wilderness first aid curriculum and doctrine guidelines, 2017 Edition.  Topics include preparation and assessment, preventing and caring for injuries and illnesses, environmental hazards, and other wilderness considerations.

There is a materials fee of $35 for book and supplies.

Take your SQL query skills to a new level by learning how to write more advanced SQL queries for enhanced decision-making. In this course, you will learn how to write advanced subqueries, advanced join queries, and UNION queries that query more than one table. You will learn how to use transaction processing to ensure SQL statements execute completely or not at all and how to create stored procedures that enable you to store SQL statements for execution.

Power BI Desktop is a complete data analysis and report creation tool that you install for free. Discover the process of creating interactive reports. Integrate financial, marketing, or any other source data in your accounting system, Excel, or on the Web. Streamline the data to what is needed using Power Query. Create charts, maps, and other visuals to see your data in real-time. Delve further into Power Query to ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) your data. Build the Data Model using relationships and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). Utilize Time Intelligence functions to view YoY or YTD reports. Structured Query Language (SQL) is the industry standard database programming language. It is one of the most in-demand skills in occupations that require interaction with data and analyzing data. Through your knowledge of Structured Query Language, you will become more marketable in computer-related career fields that pertain to database administration. Learning SQL can also lead to a job that is specific to analyzing data such as a data analyst, a quality assurance analyst, or a business analyst.   You’ll first learn about relational database structures, the history and uses of Structured Query Language, and how to use Structured Query Language to create a database, add records to database tables, and to use SQL queries to extract meaningful data from database tables.  You will quickly progress from creating simple SQL queries that query a single table to querying multiple tables simultaneously. You’ll also learn how to alter data in a database and how to gather significant statistics from data stored in a database.
