Nature Photography

This course is online.
In this Nature Photography Online Class, we will go over Camera Settings and Compositions and how to get great Images of Nature's best, such as Moose, Birds, Seals, and other subjects! We will also discuss how to set up a Blind to get great Images.
Lighthouse Photo Workshop

This is an online course. Cruise is outside in person. (Cruise cost is separate from class, tickets range from $60 - $70).
In the first live online class, we'll start by learning camera settings, aperture, shutter, ISO, white balance, and other compositional techniques critical to lighthouse photography. The following Saturday, during the Cruise, we'll focus on photographing wildlife and lighthouses, sharing techniques and approaches. Finally, we'll meet online the following week to share, learn, and critique our images.
Limited to 15 students.
This workshop is for beginner and intermediate photographers.
Estate Planning-Prepare for the Uncertainties of Life Revocable & Irrevocable Trusts-Are They Right For You?

This class will begin with an overview of basic estate planning, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, etc. The class will then delve into, learning how revocable trusts can help avoid probate and protect your privacy, and how irrevocable trusts can protect your assets from nursing home or Maine Care (Medicaid) liens. Discussion will include other strategies to safeguard assets from life events such as business failure or divorce of adult children. Kathryn Bedell is a lawyer in York, Maine and has been practicing for 31 years. Her practice focuses on estate planning, asset preservation, and probate matters.
Summer Bloom: Flower Jewelry Design Night + Take It Kits

Join jewelry designer, artist, and educator Julie Moser of MoCo Media for a fun-filled night to play. During this session, you'll be provided with supplies and guidance to make a flower jewelry creation of your choosing (bracelet or earrings) incorporating salvaged vintage jewelry, along with contemporary beads, and findings. Choose from pre-selected themes or find your whimsy and make your creation! This session is fabulous for friends, a birthday celebration, or to make a unique gift for yourself or a loved one.
Knitting Basics 4p - 6p

All levels of ability are welcome!
Ideal for beginning or "rusty" knitters. Casting on, ending a project, and repairing mistakes will be covered, as well as mastery of the basic knit and purl stitches, the foundation of all knitting.
Supplies needed:
Bring size 7 knitting needles, 1 light color Supersaver Red heart yarn (7 ounces), 1 small pair of scissors, and a tape measure. OR Bring a project that you are working on.
Can't make a full session? Student drop-ins are welcome!
Drop-In fee is $15 per class. You can register online or drop by the office to pay for the class drop-in.

Yin Yoga
with Jazmin Jade
Reset your day with a quiet evening flow with Jazmin. This class begins with centering the mind, followed by poses that will help you wind down from your day and release tension in your body. You will stay low to the floor and work into longer holds to give you the space to reconnect with your breath and quiet the mind.
Incorporate simple flowing sequences to warm up the body and slower-paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. No experience is required!
Please bring a yoga mat, water, and a towel. Yoga blocks will be available for students to use.
