Beyond Stick Figures; You Can Draw!
with Evelyn Nitzberg, SWA
The emphasis during this series will focus on implementing the Element of LINE to create SHAPE and the application of TEXTURE and VALUE to create the illusion of three-dimensional depth on a two-dimensional surface using a range of hardness of graphite and white and black charcoal.
Everyone has an artist in them. Young children make ART naturally. Rediscover your creative process. When discussing art-making with others, so many have said to me, "All I can draw is stick figures." You CAN draw more than stick figures! Drawing and making ART is a matter of having encouragement and the opportunity to rediscover YOUR creative potential in a guided, safe, and non-judgemental environment.
There is a $25 materials fee on the first night of class. (New students only)
Materials fee for "Beyond Stick Figures" returning students: $10
Evelyn’s Credentials:
Award-Winning Society of Western Artists Signature Artist
Credentialed Art Educator
Credentialed Visual Arts Teacher
