$50 Student Assistance Fund Donation

$50

Many of our students have families, part-time or low-wage jobs, transportation issues, and of course many financial challenges.

SCAE students attending academic classes do not pay registration fees for our classes. They do have to pay minimal materials and/or book fees which average about $45 per 60-hour class.

We strive to keep costs down, but sometimes our students can’t afford this.  Your donation will help students with these unique challenges an opportunity to focus on their studies and not the finances.  Every donation, no matter the amount, is appreciated.  Disbursements from this fund are approved by the Administrators of SCAE on the basis of need.

 Thank you for your support.

Breath-Taking at Night

with Carole Freeman

Calendar Current session started Jan 1, 2023

We are so excited to offer this wonderful series of courses with Carole Freeman of York.  Each class is a "stand-alone & self-paced" session that you can register for and then take at your own convenience!  Monday morning, Sunday afternoon, Friday night?  It's up to you!  Each class has a specific focus with information & exercises unique to its topic.

Breath-Taking at Night

Fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, stop snoring and wake up feeling rested!

You’d be shocked at how many health disorders are related to, if not caused by, faulty breathing during sleep. While many people feel there’s nothing they can do about snoring or waking frequently at night, they’d be just as surprised to know there’s more you can do about it than you think.

You and I know that you can’t possibly have your highest brain power, do your best performance and function at your highest level when you are chronically fatigued and drained from lack of deep restful sleep.

Let's fix it!

Carole Freeman, B.S. RRT, Breathing Specialist

Carole’s background has been equal portions of respiratory therapy, exercise physiology, and massage therapy.  Her career as a respiratory therapist began at Loma Linda University Medical Center where she discovered that most adult patients were in the hospital because of poor lifestyle choices. That inspired her to attend graduate school at LLUMC, majoring in Health Sciences. She now focuses her work in a relatively new field of pulmonary medicine - recognizing and treating breathing disorders.  She has personally benefitted from improved breathing patterns, “I have found that each day I was mindful of my breathing pattern, I gained more energy, and my breathing became easier. It felt like I was turning the clock back as I continued to gain strength and endurance.”

Breath-Taking Online is a school that encompasses the entire field of this branch of medicine. Carole’s mission is to share this information, along with personal experience and background, to help others breathe easier and feel healthier, too.

Breath-Taking for Childcare Workers & Parents

We'll connect the dots between your child's Breathing Pattern and their Childhood Development affecting overall health for the rest of their life.

It’s estimated that 85% of us have some degree of dysfunctional breathing. Much of this starts in childhood and has dramatic consequences on our health, our brain function, and our appearance over our lifetime.

Since you breathe every moment of your life, how you breathe has surprising effects on your health every moment too. Everything from the shape of your child’s skull and facial features to the function of their lungs is dramatically impacted by their habitual breathing patterns. This is where you can make a dramatic difference in your child’s life.

Breath-Taking Basics:

What if you are breathing all wrong??

Breath-Taking classes aren’t just about breathing, everyone knows how to breathe, and we know that if you stop breathing, you die!

But, if you never learn how to breathe well, you go on to become sick and tired. Since breathing is something you do every moment you’re alive, learning to breath well becomes one of the most essential factors in feeling your best and doing your best every day.

The most important thing to know about Breath-Taking Online classes is that they’re not about learning a single special technique. Courses are developed from the entire medical field of identifying and correcting Breathing Pattern Disorders.

It’s estimated that 85% of us currently have some type of Breathing Dysfunction that’s connected to feeling sick and tired. Or at the very least, more sick, and tired than we need to be.
