Become nationally Certified in 10 weeks as a Phlebotomy Technician.  Our all-inclusive course prepares you for National Certification with live classes via Zoom (Tuesdays) and in-person skills labs (Thursdays starting after week 4).  You will be able to perform basic phlebotomy venipuncture procedures, answer patient questions, perform basic point-of-care testing, such as blood glucose levels on patients, and prepare blood, urine, and other body fluid specimens for testing according to established standards. 

$3,500 included Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) National Certification through NHA, books, resumes, and job assistance.

ASL One is fun and designed for beginners and those who took ASL many years ago. Learn basic vocabulary for introduction,alphabet, numbers, colors, food, family, and basic directions. Not required, but an ASL dictionary is helpful. New vocabulary and assignments/activities will be handed out in each class.

This 20-week, in-depth medical coding for CPC certification through AAPC.  This program is designed to teach all aspects of medical coding, providing you with the skills needed to become nationally certified and to get into the job market as a Certified Professional Coder.  This certificate program includes Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, 2 CPC-A exam attempts, AAPC membership, 3 practice CPC tests, and all books. Basic computer skills are required. $3,950; Adding Practicode (6 - 10 - week online program) will remove the apprenticeship designation from the CPC Credential; $5,150.  Payment plans available.

This program will be held once a week for 20 weeks. Upon completion of the program, you will sit for your CPC national certification which is included in tuition. Your title will be a CPC-A, for the first year; CPC-A means you will be considered a certified coder with an Apprentice designation for one year. Once you have worked for a year, you will have your Apprentice title removed and be an official CPC! This program consists of Medical Terminology/Anatomy for ICD-10 and Medical Coding curriculum.

Interested in learning more about editing your own images?  Just starting out as a photographer and wanted to expand your knowledge?  Or just looking for ways to perfect your editing skills and develop your own style?  Join me in this beginner lightroom and basic editing course this spring.  We'll be learning how to use all the tools lightroom has to offer.  Discussing tone, color theory, mood, and more, and how to make your images better overall.

Dive into Maine's haunted history with Missy and Richie of Paranormal Five.  They will lead a discussion of the back stories of locations all over the State of Maine that have been identified as "haunted".  There will be a virtual presentation with history, facts, haunts, and photos.  They will also be sharing evidence from investigations they have performed.

A chance to learn about different types of poetry formats and to experiment with writing format poetry.  Also, to explore ways of editing, breaking through writer's block and publishing.

Classes are the 2nd and 4th Tuesday.
