$10 Student Assistance Fund Donation

$10

with Allen Lampert

Many of our students have families, part-time or low-wage jobs, transportation issues, and of course many financial challenges.

SCAE students attending academic classes do not pay registration fees for our classes. They do have to pay minimal materials and/or book fees which average about $45 per 60-hour class.

We strive to keep costs down, but sometimes our students can’t afford this.  Your donation will help students with these unique challenges an opportunity to focus on their studies and not the finances.  Every donation, no matter the amount, is appreciated.  Disbursements from this fund are approved by the Administrators of SCAE on the basis of need.

 Thank you for your support.

Calendar May 7, 2018 at 6 pm, runs for 1 week

Does the idea of going back to school excite you or intimidate you? Maybe both! That’s perfectly normal and completely expected. It’s not as scary as you may think. It may feel like there are too many barriers to conquer, but that’s just not true.

SCAE has small classes, great teachers and lots of support systems. Before you even set foot in a class, we have an assessment (it’s not a test!) we give you so that we can figure out together what’s the best route for you to take toward getting your high school diploma.

If you’re thinking about going back to school, register for one of these one-night sessions! We’ll talk about the CASAS assessment, high school diploma requirements, the HiSET testing, our College Transitions program, our childcare services, transportation possibilities and more.
