Sanford Community Adult Education

Did you know that nearly 1 in 3 women have been subjected to some sort of physical violence in their lifetime?  Women are often looked at as "easy targets" for predators to prey on and after this training, that will no longer be the case for you.  It is no secret that women are the gatekeepers of change and when it comes to creating a lasting impact on tomorrow, there is nothing more powerful than women who know how to only protect themselves and their families, but are educated on how to handle potential threats and can look after each other within our communities.  This training combines Autumn's law enforcement background, along with years of teaching self-defense, to educate and prepare women to develop a plan on how to avoid violence and protect themselves when out in public as well as in their home.

Knowledge of what criminal activity is occurring in Maine and you will learn how to better prepare yourself and your family to avoid it.

The skills to conduct situational awareness like a police officer!  You'll learn the fundamentals of where to look and what to look for in order to never be an easy target for predators.  A safety plan for your home and how to make it less inviting for potential intruders.
