Classes are held once a week for 2 hours via Zoom and are recorded. You may choose to attend the course Live via Zoom or Self-paced by watching the recorded classes; both program options have instructor support. You will learn HIPAA compliance and health information in the medical office, insurance and billing procedures, financial and practice management, and administrative duties. In addition, we take you through the “virtual medical office” which allows you to practice “real” medical office skills before entering the workforce.
$3,200 includes National Certification, all books, fees, and resume and job assistance.

This 20-week, in-depth medical coding for CPC certification through AAPC. This program is designed to teach all aspects of medical coding, providing you with the skills needed to become nationally certified and to get into the job market as a Certified Professional Coder. This certificate program includes Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, 2 CPC-A exam attempts, AAPC membership, 3 practice CPC tests, and all books. Basic computer skills are required. $3,950; Adding Practicode (6 - 10 - week online program) will remove the apprenticeship designation from the CPC Credential; $5,150. Payment plans available.

- This program will be held once a week for 20 weeks. Upon completion of the program, you will sit for your CPC national certification which is included in tuition. Your title will be a CPC-A, for the first year; CPC-A means you will be considered a certified coder with an Apprentice designation for one year. Once you have worked for a year, you will have your Apprentice title removed and be an official CPC! This program consists of Medical Terminology/Anatomy for ICD-10 and Medical Coding curriculum.

This course is a 6-to-10-week online practicum taken after earning your CPC-A. CPC-A’s get real-world experience coding actual medical charts. This new coding practice course helps to improve coding skills across multiple specialties, allows a new coder to gain coding experience. It is comprised of 3 modules of 200 actual, redacted medical records per module. Upon completion of this program, you will have your Apprentice designation removed immediately- providing you an equivalency of 2 years’ experience in the field in under 30 weeks.

Medical Transcription is a desired field for most people to work from home. Strong typing, computer, and English Grammar skills are essential. Medical terminology, formats, rules and regulations, jobs, calculation of pay, confidentiality, and tricks of the trade, all equipment, reference books, and course books are provided with the course fee. Classes are online for 16 weeks with completion of 16-week to 6-month options. This is a State Certified Program, and you will receive a Certificate of Completion and Letter of Recommendation upon graduation, resumes and how to obtain a job are covered in this program. The program includes Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Transcription.
$3,200 includes everything for the course and the field. The required typing skills are above 60 WPM, and Microsoft Word proficiency.

All-Inclusive 14 week program, you will learn everything from the role of the technician in the pharmacy setting to the basic sciences at the core of pharmacy practice, to preparing for the PTCB exam. You will learn complete drug information that includes proper name, spelling and pronunciation, drug class, generic and trade name, route of administration, dosage, and more of hundreds of drugs. Legal Nurse Consultant Training Course
with Center for Legal Studies

This is an online course. This class can be taken anytime, anywhere. You can work at your own pace.
This exciting program prepares medical professionals for a career in the legal field as legal nurse consultants. Building on your medical education and possible clinical experience, this course provides nurses with the fundamental skills necessary to advise law firms, health care providers, insurance companies, and governmental agencies regarding medically related issues and to appear in court as expert witnesses. The course teaches legal concepts related to the healthcare industry, as well as the role a legal nurse consultant might play in litigation areas such as medical malpractice, toxic torts, product liability, personal injury, wrongful death, criminal law, and workers’ compensation. Any nurse interested in entering the legal field can benefit from the education provided by this course. The course is also open to anyone interested in the field of forensic testimony and medical-legal issues, but participants without a nursing background might not be able to take the LNCC exam after graduation. Legal Nurse Consultant Certified (LNCC) is a discretionary test separate from this training course that experienced registered nurses graduating from this course may decide to sit for. LNCC test eligibility requirements are discussed during this training course; however, nurses graduating from this course need not take the LNCC to practice as legal nurse consultants.
This nurse continuing professional development activity was approved by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approved by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Successful graduates will receive a certificate for 42 contact hours of nursing continuing professional development from CLS by Barbri that they may be able to use to fulfill continuing education requirements.
