Renata Lahner of the Lahner Group is a licensed insurance agent with over 18 years of experience helping individuals find the right Medicare coverage based on one's medical and financial needs. During class, she will explain how Medicare works, what it covers, what it does not cover, details on differences between supplemental and advantage plans, penalties, and much more! 

Do you like journaling?  Telling stories?  Self-reflecting?  Not only is writing fun, writing can be one of the biggest catalysts for change.  For centuries, folks have turned to writing to find healing, inner peace, self-actualization, and transformation.  Transformative writing is like taking a trip, only you take the trip inward.  Writing helps make sense of our experiences and the world in which we live.  Transformative Growth Through Writing is a five-week dive into exploring our innermost thoughts and feelings.  It is for writers of all levels, including beginners.  I hope you join me on a journey of self-discovery.

CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) This is an advanced course for people in public service as a paid or volunteer first rsponder. Enhance your basic CPR and AED skills learning how to better manage breathing, airways and drug overdoses.  Course meets requirements for first responders, lifeguards and others who may need or want more advanced medical training. Course fee includes American Heart Association CPR card. (This instructor is AHA and ASHI Certified) 

There is a $75 materials fee for pocket mask, book, and specific card to this class.

Acquire the critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest until emergency medical services arrive. Learn to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, and other first-aid emergencies. CPR and AED for Adults, Children, and infants.  Certification is good for 2 years and meets most requirements for advisors, camp counselors, and basic care providers.  The course fee includes American Heart Association CPR card. (This instructor is AHA and ASHI Certified).

Blends Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yogas.

Focuses on physical practice and breath.  It is designed to unite and balance the energies.  Modifications will be made throughout to make this a perfect beginner class.  There will also be the option to do this class in a chair.  

Bring your mat and any other props that you may enjoy, such as blocks, and blankets, and water bottle. 

This is an online course.  This class can be taken anytime, anywhere.  All classes are pre-recorded for you to take at your own pace.   You still have instructor support for the self-paced class.

This course track combines two programs: Medical Administrative Assistant with Billing, as well as, Medical Coding with CPC-A, leaving you with 2 national certifications. It also includes our programs at a discounted rate. Classes are held once a week for 2 hours via Zoom and are recorded. You may choose to attend the course Live via Zoom or Self-paced by watching the recorded classes; both program options have instructor support. You will learn HIPAA compliance and health information in the medical office, insurance and billing procedures, financial and practice management, and administrative duties. In addition, we take you through the “virtual medical office” which allows you to practice “real” medical office skills before entering the workforce.

Medical Transcription is a desired field for most people to work from home.  Strong typing, computer, and English Grammar skills are essential.  Medical terminology, formats, rules and regulations, jobs, calculation of pay, confidentiality, and tricks of the trade, all equipment, reference books, and course books are provided with the course fee.  Classes are online for 16 weeks with completion of 16-week to 6-month options.  This is a State Certified Program, and you will receive a Certificate of Completion and Letter of Recommendation upon graduation, resumes and how to obtain a job are covered in this program.  The program includes Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Transcription.  

$3,200 includes everything for the course and the field.  The required typing skills are above 60 WPM, and Microsoft Word proficiency.
