The course teaches legal concepts related to the healthcare industry, as well as the role a legal nurse consultant might play in litigation areas such as medical malpractice, toxic torts, product liability, personal injury, wrongful death, criminal law, and workers’ compensation. Any nurse interested in entering the legal field can benefit from the education provided by this course. Transformative Growth Through the Lens is a course that teaches participants to see things differently. This is not your typical photography class. While we will discuss essential elements of capturing a great image, including camera modes, composition, and light, the true heart of the course revolves around utilizing photography as a creative modality to move through grief, anxiety, trauma, and everyday life. The course links neuroscience, psychology, mindfulness, and art together. Participants will be asked to take multiple photographs around various themes designed to help folks transform their photography skills while transforming their perspective.
