Chances are, you've seen a movie and, afterwards, thought, The book was better." But then, there are those films that are just as good as the books they are based on. Books and Blockbusters is a new discussion group that focuses on and celebrates such occasions. This course will give participants an opportunity to read "Nobody's Fool" by Maine author Richard Russo, and watch the 1995 film adaptation starring Paul Newman. Local journalist Shawn P. Sullivan will facilitate the class.
