Roz Applebaum is a 30-year veteran of the conference industry and a successful life coach.  Juggling speakers, hotel logistics, audiovisual, attendee demands, and a myriad of other conference details demands strong organizational skills.  Today, Roz helps her coaching clients apply organizational skills to their daily lives to achieve short-and long-term goals while maintaining an ideal life balance.  Roz lives in Southern Maine where she dabbles in various art projects, walks the beach daily with her labrador retriever Conway, and engages extensively with her community, friends, and family.  She still has time to travel, go to the theater, and practice healthy self-care utilizing her core principles of planning, prioritizing, and actioning.

Discussion will include other strategies to safeguard assets from life events such as business failure or divorce of adult children. Kathryn Bedell is a lawyer in York, Maine and has been practicing for 31 years. Her practice focuses on estate planning, asset preservation, and probate matters.

Learn how to improve your lawn with simple, conservation-based techniques to increase soil health, and habitat, improve water retention, reduce pests reduce maintenance and costs.  We will share simple techniques to install a rain garden, drip line trench, vegetative buffer for shoreline protection, wildlife meadows, pollinator gardens, bird habitat, edible landscapes, and other practices to improve your yard.  We will cover how to submit soil tests and how to interpret the results.

Balms, Lotions and Creams

The class focuses on how to create balms, salves, and water-based lotions. We will be utilizing botanical ingredients, natural oils, and butters.  We will learn about the different techniques to craft infused oils into balms and salves.  The teacher will introduce the class to water-based lotions and creams.  We will discuss safety and necessary natural preservatives that have to be used with water-based formulas.

There is a materials fee of $30 to be paid on the first night of class.

Don't miss out on this creative experience!

**There is a materials fee of $30 due to the instructor at the class.  You will be going home with a few projects and a t-shirt.

  This class will help you either begin or improve your Cricut skills.
