This 16 week course provides practical real-world skills essential for success in the healthcare field.  This completely inclusive course consists of Medical Terminology, Medical Front Office skills, EHR/EMR for the Medical Office, Medical Billing Specialist and the Administrative Medical Assistant.  You will learn how to use electronic records which are used in many medical offices.  In addition, upon completion of all courses, you will sit for your CMAA (Certified Medical Administrative Assistant), Electronic Health Record and Billing Specialist national certification exams through the National Healthcare Association.  The $3000 includes national certifications, books and fees.  Payment plans available.

Turn dictated medical information into typed records through the use of various types of equipment, such as micro-cassette recorders, Wav files and phone systems.  A Medical Transcriptionist is responsible for receiving verbal information and accurately typing it into a word processing program.

Medical transcription is a desired field for most people trying to work at home.  Strong typing, computer and English grammar skills are essential. Medical terminology, formats, rules and regulations, jobs, calculation of pay, confidentiality, FTP, tricks of the trade, all equipment, reference books, and course books are provided with the course fee.  Classes are once a week for 16-weeks with a completion of 16 weeks to 6 month options.  This is a State Certified Program and you will receive a Certificate of Completion and Letter of Recommendation upon graduation. Resumes and how to obtain a job are covered in this program.  Course includes medical terminology, Anatomy & Physiology and transcription. Course fee is $2650 which includes everything for the course and the field.  Payment plans are available.
