Beach Painting

Keep your beach memories alive all winter long with this painting featuring ocean waves and a sand beach with little shells and beach glass accents. No artistic experience required.  Personalize your painting any way you wish. You can bring small accents but the instructor will have some for you to use if you don't have any.  There is a $10 materials fee payable to the instructor at class.

Beginner Acrylic Pour Painting

With this exciting process, you never know what beautiful patterns will be created until the paint is poured. We'll cover what types of paint and additives work best to create beautiful abstract art. This class is appropriate for any artistic skill level, from beginner to pro, who wants to learn this technique. You will be transporting your wet paintings home in a container provided by the instructor, but you may want to have some plastic or cardboard in your car for the trip home.  There is a $25 materials fee payable to the instructor at class.

Beginner Crochet

Learn basic crochet skills such as chaining, basic stitches, and then we'll use those stitches to create a dishcloth.  We'll learn crocheting in the round, increases and decreases by making a scrubby, and how to crochet  a dishtowel.  For the first class, you will need a basic set of crochet hooks size E-J or F-K or one size J hook and one ball of medium-weight 100% cotton year like "Sugar N' Cream". Instructor will have crochet hooks to share if you want to try before you buy. No materials fee.  Additional materials for the second and third week of class will be discussed and the cost of those materials will be minimal.

Beginner Guitar

Beginner Punch Needle

Punch needle embroidery has deep roots in New England as women hooked rugs out of old clothing or yarn. We'll use a smaller embroidery punch needle and regular floss to make this cute ornament.  In second class, we will finish the ornament using fabric. Materials fee payable to instructor ($20) includes punch needle kit, floss, and finishing materials. You keep the kit.

BHP: Behavioral Health Professional 1/26

Work one-on-one with a child or adolescent with special needs within their home and community focusing on behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, as well as community inclusion. Become a key member of the in-home support program working independently with the child and cooperatively with a treatment team. Your schedule may be flexible allowing you to maintain a work/life balance. Key qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required, valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle with current auto insurance, a positive attitude, high energy level and creativity. In addition to course fee, there is a $17 fee payable to in instructor for a CPR card.
